Most brushless motor shafts are difficult to remove and there is a real danger of bending it.
If you could post pictures or links to the motor, mount and disc we would be better able to advise.
I normally mount the disc around the outside of the motor body assuming it is an outrunner.

Your best bet is to print an adapter to hold the disc on the motor if it's like that.

It's something I'd need to have the disc and motor with me for as I like to make the adapter so it hooks into the motor not just the bolts, makes it a bit tougher.

a bit of an update on the spinner project. i couldn't remove the motor shaft in order to insert the metal mount i had so i sent it to Alex to get a mount 3D printed. i just need to secure the verticle motor mount to improve it's rigidity, make a lid for it, add a wedge scoop for the front and wire in the switch. :)

the spinner arrived back from Alex today. i've been busy with it since i got home from school and i've made a 4mm thick HDPE verticle brushless mount. just need to cut a lid, make a scoop and attach the switch before saturday.
