Ah, now i get it. Thanks! Is there any specific type of wire i need?Rapidrory wrote:You don't need to solder to bind the RX; just poke the bind wire through the bind holes in the RX (behind the throttle channel, labled 'Bi' in tiny writing) and turn it on.

No specific wire, if it conducts electricity it'll work.

ok cool so both robots are working and i just need to get the charger bits together. since i dont have any metal or bolts for the front of The Burning Shadows of Silence, would it still be worth it to duct tape some hdpe to the front of it?
also my dad wants to bring a chess set. i dont know why he expects me to play chess with him when there are robots happening :V

Based on lots of past experience, yes, it is worth duct taping stuff to stuff for robot combat.

Could do with sticking some acetate to the front of those two... Someone can probably lend you some tomorrow if need be.

I probably could, but i probably could have done with rebuilding Jaguar and getting some proper armour for the front of both of them :VRapidrory wrote:Could do with sticking some acetate to the front of those two... Someone can probably lend you some tomorrow if need be.

Maybe, but at least with acetate fitted they stand a chance of getting under another robot.
