You're welcome to some steel drillmotor ring gears and spur gears if you would like them.
For my stuff:

Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings
The idea is to build an all around spinner so the ring gear needs to be a close to 100mm OD with as large an ID as possible to allow the wheels and drive motors to be enclosed.
If the ABS proves too soft I might try to cnc the gears in fibreglass.

Yes thats the one I have just found a picture of it along side the one I remembered which was Angus.
Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings
Oddly enough I am trying something similar but with a plain ring and a friction drive rather than actual gears. If I can get it to work in time it will be at the next AWS

It was one I put together of various pictures I had taken and I used it as a poster at one of the Brighton Model Shows some years back.

Re: Peter Wallers Robot Ramblings
Made a little more progress have now scaled it up a bit until the outside diameter is 98 mm to enable the two motor gearboxes and reasonable tyre to be fitted within the inner diameter.
All up weight so far is 74 gms.
