I just checked the speed and it is doing 6700 rpm on 3 cells.

It was one I put together of various pictures I had taken and I used it as a poster at one of the Brighton Model Shows some years back.

Made a little more progress have now scaled it up a bit until the outside diameter is 98 mm to enable the two motor gearboxes and reasonable tyre to be fitted within the inner diameter.

will this be a full body spinner? if so, we need more of those in antweights, there are'nt many about and they're really cool. also, that means you'll have three spinners in your team Pete! :D

The body doesn't spin so not quite the right description maybe total surround spinner or something like that.
that means you'll have three spinners in your team
It may fall apart on the first hit so I am not counting it into the team yet and even if it does make it it might replace one of the spinners.
With luck if I can get it working for Antfreeze I could do some pre AWS testing.
In the mean time I have been looking at CNCing some bits in fibreglass as a fallback.
