Again it's a testbot :P

Also I did plenty of driving and hitting without plowing into the walls from hits, it's suprisingly stable. And having it mounted up top puts the disc 30mm off the floor which is too high. Though clustering it wouldn't be a horrible idea.

The problem with clustering a spinner, especially a not very controllable spinner, is that you stand a good chance of shredding your other cluster bot... That's why I didn't cluster Smidge and Flail Whale in the end; two entirely uncontrollable robots together would not have ended well :L

Oh there's a really high chance of taking out my own bot... But I hope I won't :P

In a wierd twist.... MY TEAM IS READY :P

I was getting some bots together for the brighton maker faire but they actually came out really well so will become part of my team alongside stanley. PICaxe and Kinda Accelerant had a cut 'n' shut job so Kinda Accelerants front is on the back of PICaxe making one nifty grabber :D

Left: New Flipper (as of yet unamed). Middle: Stanley (The team captain :P ). Right: PICaxe (I guess... Needs renaming)

The new flipper:
2 50:1 motors on a 2 cell 180mah LiPo. Servo powered flipper, 4 bar linkage with a very wide throw. Can self right quite nicely and is a fast robot. 143g with N2LV and LemonRX

This was probably my most time consuming build of a single chassis but it came out nicely, though I do now remember why I hated working carbon fibre.

PICaxe:

You can see the old chassis hiding underneath with a Mangles N2LVHP (With lemonRX) hiding in the cavernous insides :P 2cell 180 mah LiPo and 50:1 motors, tripled up pololu wheels. This was a simple build of cutting the front of PICaxe off and putting the front of Kinda Accelerant on (Originally the front of Stanley) and cladding the whole lot in more carbon fibre! 137g in total with HS82mg servo, thick ali servo arm and 5mm Polycarbonate claw, hopefully it'll stand up to a spinner impact better now.

That's my new team finally with a flipper again for fun at the contests :D

After today's Maker Faire there might be a spinner appearing in Team Shakey... :D

After the maker faire... A child broke Stanley... I still am not entirely sure how.

PICaxe will be donating the prototype N2LVHP it has that has been tested in Stanley before and is being removed from the team for the time being.

It will be replaced by the horizontal spinner of doom (Once repaired) after a good show at the maker faire. :D

And I knew saying my team was ready would ruin it :P
