Guys I think my latest antweight might be overweight:

That's not the final ram it will be using (It just happens to be the exact length needed), I have a better one lined up I'm buying off of Will. Again a big thanks to Peter for giving me the drive motors. Geeza from the FRA forum donated the chassis and once I switch the sprocket for a gear on the motor (and go through the standard battle hardening), sort out the pneumatics and an ESC I should be good to go. Will be giving the chassis some good TLC first though including a repaint in Team Shakey colours and any extra weight poured into armour. I have 4x 8cell A123 packs for batteries. So far I've spent £90 (including the ram).

Also realised you guys missed out on my heavy testing before I was given the Bosch's.

I have no idea what to do with the mobility scooter motors now... Any ideas? (Ant guys have the best ideas!) :P

I promise there will be ants soon just finishing up the last lot of orders for other peoples!

PS. @Remote Controlled Dave... I'm sorry. I didn't intend to own a wedge flipper Heavy! :P

That's OK dude. Though I hope you know me and that robot have history!

Would you consider selling the scooter motors?

If I don't have a planned use for them by the time Apocalypse (Have to think of a new name) is rolling about I'll probably sell them. For now it's nice to have them there incase it all goes wonky. :S

Also what's your history with Apocalypse? :)

Talk to me if you ever feel like selling.

As for history, I kinda beat it, albeit cheaply...

It was high pressure but it wasn't working well. The only time he got it to fire (trying to get off the pit) it wasn't really on his command.

I'm sorry it made you sad. It made us very very happy at the time...

That high pressure setup had the ram that is currently sitting in Manta- I was chatting to Ed and we can't work out why it works so much better as Im running a very similar setup.

I'm still trying to locate your ram Alex. I think I know where it is though :p
