Do you have any idea how much torque you're getting from your belt driven wheels compared to your directly driven wheels?

Ant wheels tend to spin so you proberly won't gain very much for 6WD over 4WD. Have you thought about tracks, or a vacuum pump?

I have decided to go for only four wheel drive in the end. Using four polulu 100:1 HP motors. However it will also have lifting forks on the front to help pick up and push other robots powered by a hs82mg servo or if a smaller metal geared one is known that can handle it that would be good.

Would a HP Naro micro servo do the job?
