Oooh!! Worrying myself now.........That's the inverse square law......I/d^2 or if it's at an angle 1/(d^2 x cos of the angle)

I see that the word sausage has been used for censorship. Hehe

Out of random thought if the noise is a point source (brushes in a motor) is it not a cubic law? Double distance is a factor of 9 reduction
