Antweight Clones

Post by teamocean »

I was just wondering, how many heavyweight clones have there been over the years.

Currently I think there are only 2 running, Ant Awe and Baby Tilly.

Have I forgotten any?

Well Pants was built as a clone of the Thunder Pants HW from RW 6, and Anty B was a mini Behemoth, and Razzler a Mini Razer, not sure on others, I'll get back to you on that :)

The antweight Ant was built as a mini version of Turbulence, I think.

How could I forget Anty B and Razzler!

Ant was not originally designed to be like turbulence although as I was building it, it did end up looking very similar.

I will be building another clone very soon- a mini maelstrom with a scaled down flipper system.

Yep, that's right :)
There was a mini Tornado called Torant which was once a world champion and there was a mini Dantomkia called Antomkia, and iron Awe 5 has Ant Awe.

when was torant a world champion?

Pants came first the big pants then the other pants heavies

Anto followed Tanto in 2000 and both have had various incarnations since then

I made a slight error there, it was actually Torrant 2 and it won AWS 13, according to Oliver's site.
