Thanks for all the advice! :)

Found some old lego boxes with some decent thick cardboard so i might use that for a start, see how i go.

also, how would you go about securing motors and other components on a cardboard base, without them being ripped out.

I'm famous for using duct tape on everything, so thats how I do it. I'm sure you'll get some more technical responses, but this does well for me.

For a cardboard base something like duct tape has got to be your solution, just try to leave room so you can change the crystal and batteries.

Double sided foam is amazing stuff, really hard to get off once it is on. Doublesided tape is ok, but doesn#t have any give to hold if them motor is hit.

I have also used tupperwear stuff in various robots, lol.
Double sided foam or sticky pads are very good.

ahhh, i might give the old tape/foam a try :)

does the spinner class countfor any time of rotary weapon. So even if u had a tiny little disc it would still be classed as a spinner? Just not sure if spinner class is only meant for the monsterous ones.

Nope, any sort of spinning weapon can only compete in full combat. However pathetic it may be.
