A good choice! Jack won second place in the non-spinner competition with a Pants-kit built up to his own design (Valiant).
This goes to show that a pusher CAN be competitive

Indeed - The Starter kit really is an excellent place to start. I also started with it, and came second at my first event. After that, the sky (or your wallet ) is the limit

the kit is brilliant!, as gary said i came 2nd with the kit in the non-spinner comp. it is really reliable and (for what it's worth) cheap.
as for a pusher being competetive, they certainly can be ( e.g, dynimite) if made and driven right.( i think my 2nd place was mainly luck) however, ValliANT is now a flipper ( ready for rrc )
