Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
As AntRoboteer says, that's not a problem at all. Fleaweights and Nanoweights will be at the end of the day providing time permits (and we expect it to).

Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
After a quick chat with Dave W, he believes we will have time for flea and nanoweights - therefore: If you have them, please bring them. We will record who has these as part of the booking in process on the morning.

Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
As this is my first AWS that I'm running - I'm going to say "I need to talk to somebody more experienced before I can say yes/no to that".
Let me consult with Dave W first to see if we've got enough time in the schedule for it.
Provisionally: Yes - if we have time for it.

Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
Regrettably, the University have chosen to suddenly spring charges on us in relation to running the event (in either space). Both myself and the team at Southampton knew these possibly applied for the space in 177 - but we didn't see it coming for building 58 as the room booking got accepted without...

Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
So, here we go then - the last of the paperwork has been submitted (and I'm now actually praying that the University don't find some crazy last-minute excuse!). Key points: - Standard antweight rules apply as per the published rules (I believe v4.2 is current). - All robots must pass a tech-check - ...

Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton
NOTE: Postcode advertised here was partially incorrect. SO17 1BJ is the postcode for the University, SO16 7QF is the postcode that'll get you in the right place.... CHECK THE MAP PLEASE! This has been rather a while in the pipeline - but, I am pleased to finally announce we've got there. Between my...
Re: AWS 53?
I can confirm that I have managed to secure space for an AWS at the University of Southampton on Saturday 4th November 2017. We are still working to get the space I actually wanted, however our backup bookings have just been approved. This is at Building 58, University of Southampton, off Salisbury ...
Re: AWS 53?
Until I get a confirmed venue I won't be putting details up.
I am pushing for this to happen as soon as possible, but the process requires about 8 people to all say yes simultaneously.....
I will provide details as soon as I have them.

Re: AWS 53?
Thanks Peter. There were about 3 backup plans - but if you are able to provide that helps me massively.
Of course... I'm still waiting on a response from the University of Southampton....
