Re: Earthwormjim's Stuff
Howsabout 'Beelzebub' or 'Lucifer'?
Or you could go for something less sinister, re-arrange Satan and call it Santa
If I was to ever change the name of one of my robots, I'd have to grind the paintwork off and re-do the name. I take it that in this case, you just re-print the chassis?

Re: Thread for silly questions about rules!
I'm sure there was a similar discussion about this regarding featherweights a fair few years back. The conclusion (not an official rule, just general consensus) was that you could carry spares of every part of your robot and could effectively replace the entire insides of a robot if it suffered majo...

Re: Mad Metal Machines Volume 13
MMM 14 at the end of September is a distinct possibility. I don't know if there are any full-combat featherweight events planned for September this year. Normally there are but there was nothing in 2011 and it was a bit quiet for my liking. So if it's the same again this year, a road trip to Germany...

Re: Mad Metal Machines Volume 13
*strokes non-existent beard* I'd love to come to one of these events too, but as you're saying Will, it could mean two (possibly three) full combat events in a short time frame. Considering the cost of travelling from this here Scottyland to regular events, multiplied by three won't be cheap. Maybe ...

Re: Robots: Extreme Wars Live Barnsley 2012 - 26 Feb 2012
My jigsaw is appalling, so I need a proper saw. £20 for a 550W Performance Power brand jigsaw out of B&Q (and a few quid for a decent wood-cutting blade). Had mine close to three years now and it's still going strong. I imagine it's pretty thin (3mm?) polycarb? If so, I've been cutting 5mm poly...
