OK thanks. I'm getting new batteries as well... decided I might as well go the whole hog in the end so brushless motor and controller, new batteries and 2.4ghz system will all be on order soon! I figured if I get a big enough pile of parts that I don't want taking up valuable shelf space in my room ...
