Yes I have, no it doesn't work with the standard firmware on the ESC, but I've written a custom firmware to make them work with the DasMikro RXs

Those motors run fine on 2S; a lot of antweight spinners use them.

Unfortunately yes it is DSM2 only, however the DSMX transmitters blade transmitters do apparently work with DSM2 as well. Though if you're spending £29 on a Blade TX, you might as well spend slightly more and get the much better value for money Devo 7E ( http://robotwars101.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f...

The SG90s servo boards don't handle anything above 6v.

I got a printer a year ago and definitely have not used it enough to justify the cost :L I still think your build style suits polycarbonate construction better.
