Re: Water Bots - Floaters
This sounds like it could be a lot of fun. Being on water really would create a new meta as well as create new weapon types (I'm already thinking of some sort of drill to damage the underside of robots). I'd imagine there would have to be a new layer of safety rules & procedures since water &...

Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019
Great to hear, it was the last event you hosted that got me into antweights & will definitely attend this one.

Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports
Well, with AWS57 in the books it's time for me to bore the unfortunate souls who read this about what I thought about the event. Overall it was a lot of fun with my robots having varying degrees of success, all of which found themselves against incredibly tough draws in the 1st round. You Break It, ...

Re: AWS 57 (February 2019)
Shakey said he was coming along too but he hasn't signed up yet so I'd expect it to be even higher by Saturday.
Out of curiosity, what's the record for number of bots at an event?

Re: AWS 57 (February 2019)
Hi Agors
An official start hasn't been announced yet, but people usually start showing up at about 9:00 for registration, where your robot is checked to make sure it complies with the rules (size & weight in particular). As long as you're signed up on Antlog you're fine to just show up.

Re: AWS 57 (February 2019)
Hi Kyro
Your son won't need to be on the RW101 forum, but you will need to create a separate team on Antlog for him. I wasn't on RW101 at all until after I attended my 1st antweight event so I can confirm you can do this.

Re: AWS rule polls 2019
Cheers Dave, it was the drones in particular that was causing the confusion. Glad it's getting addressed (I can only imagine how awkward it is to get a fair rule to cover all bases).

Re: AWS rule polls 2019
Hi, a quick question regarding the "no contact restart" rule.
If a part of a clusterbot drives off the edge before contact is made, should the match still be restarted?

Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports
Ant Freeze was a lot of fun, an interesting event for me as it was the 1st antweight event using a bot I'd built from scratch, You Break It, You Bought It . Before the event I did a bit of testing & found a couple of issues. Firstly, it is very sensitive when steering & rather twitchy. Secon...
