Re: Team Shock's Build Diary
Thanks guys,
The pneumatics system in the white one has a lego ram with a custom setup. The air tank has been the biggest challenge so I'm working on a custom aluminium one. Will hopefully have something to show by the end of the week

Inversion has now been finished with HDPE scoops instead of the aluminium ones which leaves enough weight to add some silicon wheels later on. The two new ones are the currentl...

I would go for
1)yes
2)yes
3) B as it won't stop people like Rhys and Andy who have built specific clusters as their 4th entry

Re: Team Shock's Build Diary
]I've decided to prepare early for the next AWS :) One robot I've been meaning to improve for a while is Inversion. The previous one was put together in a bit of a rush and although it works well I wanted to do it properly. Inversion 4 has a brand new 2 part chassis which is clamped together with 6,...

Re: Possible summer event (not AWS)- University of Reading
Funnily enough I have just started looking into this again. There may be the possibilty of an event some time in August. Probably won't be the full scale of what I normally do for an AWS just a fun event for everyone to enjoy.
I will get back to you later in the week to see if its do able

Re: EDFs
My view is that I'm not overly keen on the EDF bots. I've even bought parts for one but could never quite bring myself to use them. Personally I would be in favour of a ban on any types of additional downforce. The gaining popularity of silicon wheels has already improved the grip on most ants to a ...

Re: Revision of Nanoweight Cube Size
When I first saw this my initial view was to keep the limit the same but having thought about it I would be in favour of the 60mm cube as it still limits the size but allows for more flexibility. The 3 inch cube seems a little too big for my liking
