Re: Antweight World Series 58 - 29th June 2019
Up until now, the record for an AWS was 103, shared between Will Thomas at Reading, and Richard Manning at AWS57. Chris managed 123, but if the software allowed it, we’d have been in the 130’s.

Re: Dual motor Axe bot
For Baby Hell I use a fingertech tinyESC. Expensive, yes, but at 3g it’s best for weight and will handle 2 HP motors easy (I use them to drive a beetle with no issue). Control wise, I have a spring-centred Double pole, double throw switch attached to the rudder control. Basically, if you take the le...

Hi all :) So, the first set of polls came to a conclusion as you may have heard at the AWS. All the rule changes are in RED in this document: https://nutsandbots.co.uk/aws-rules-update-v5/ If there is any amendments you suggest for the rules, please put them here and we (the committee) will adjust t...

Re: AWS rule polls 2019
There’s a lot of rules we want to change, the first lot is really a vote on “do we change it”, the wording for some rules will be voted on later. The first lot were the ones the committee voted in unanimously, but we want it to be a democratic vote, hence it’s open to you guys. We will get wordings ...

As it stands, the match wouldn’t be restarted if one part simply drove out. If both bits did and no contact was made, then we’d restart. I know there is contention regarding the drones atm but that is for future discussion; one bit at a time

AWS rule polls 2019
Hi all So, the AWS committee has been in discussion about rule changes for the upcoming AWS’s, but obviously we require input from the community. Due to our usual rule discussions going round in circles, we have opted for a poll for rule changes with a set time limit (in the case of the first set, t...
