Re: Team Phyte Antweight Builds & Event Reports

I'm glad everyone had a great time, I had a look at the live stream a couple of times, it looked good.

Re: Mix for smoother steering

I'm not sure if this helps.... I've scaled the steering on my mixing logic to 50%, so it will only drive a maximum of 50% per channel, it is added to the drive on one side and subtracted on the other, the code I use is: // Scale steering further, to stop steering too fast. steering = steering / 2; i...

Re: Charger question

If you genuinely can't find a 2S charger (I noticed that some of HK's ones are out of stock) then maybe it is possible to use a 1S charger, if you make up a "Y" cable to connect to the balance port, then just charge one cell at once. But try to always charge both cells, otherwise it would ...

Re: The smart ant's and flea's

It seems that China is unlocked now, Jlcpcb have restarted their assembly service and restocked some of the vital parts for my project. However, it is still going to take a few months really before I'm anywhere near production, I'm waiting on more parts and testing various different combinations of ...

Apparently filaments with carbon fibres in have abrasive effect on the nozzle, but you can still use normal brass ones, just they last less time. Our 3d...

Re: The smart ant's and flea's

Are you getting those boards assembled with components in China? Is it all closed down?

I got some parts from LCSC recently and waiting for some more parts (radio modules, Aliexpress seller) still.

Re: Team Ions build diary

What is LCSC? I don't know that site yet. Electrical components online? Yes lcsc.com they are a Chinese electronic components seller, like Digikey, but more Chinese and the stuff is *much* cheaper. Probably not of much interest to most robot builders because they don't sell components which we use ...

Re: Team Ions build diary

Just got in my banggood package which obviously traveled through 2 war zones and was sat on by a hippo. I think in the present circumstances, you should be glad they sent it at all. As China is mostly on lockdown a lot of workers are not permitted to go to their place of work, or are on reduced hou...
