Re: Antweight bits for beginners

Does anyone think that an ESC taken from a servo (HS81 in particular) would be capable of giving a similar effect (performance) to the Scorpion mini or the Fingertech ESCs; and does anyone know what the difference might be?
Thanks.

Re: are super ants still alive ?

Possibly building one for next year, could be the start of a resurgence in popularity for super ants.

Re: Robot Combat league

If anyone has seen the fight between commander and scorpio, that is probably the best example of a scripted battle in the history of robotic combat. The only way that could have happened would be the result of either explosive bolts or an incredibly weak chassis for what it was...

Re: AWS 40

With the FWS, if we make it its own event, why not run it along side a smaller antweight event, and possibly even a nanoweight and super antweight event if those weight classes gain a bit of popularity.

Re: AWS 40

Going to be optimistic in signing up, as my robot still isn't running yet as the materials to make the base plate only arrived today, but hopefully I can get it working at the event tomorow with a bit of help, see you all there. :D

Would it be ok to sign up tomorrow, as my robot(s) still isn't running yet?

Re: Antweight bits for beginners

Would I need an esc to be able to use a gear motor to power an axe?

Re: AWS 40

Quick question about competing in AWS events, do I have to be a member of the FRA or is it ok to be an outsider for now?
