Re: PCB problems

Never mind I’ve figured out my problem. My arduino seems to have a faulty voltage regulator. It wasn’t regulating the 7.2 input down so the logic levels were way to high....now the arduino has a steady 5v it works fine, I think... fixed for now any way haha.

Thanks Peter for the reply

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

Club news! The next tournament is fully under way. Nearly all the teams have made flipper robots. They actually work! Here's proof... https://youtu.be/yb3n_U8trew Here are the robots https://preview.ibb.co/ncBr78/IMG_0368.jpg It's been a super fun year. Hopefully I can expand the club and start runn...

PCB problems

Hello, I've been using a development board to make a ESC circuit. When I connect the PWM inputs from the Reciever the motors become uncontrolable and spinning constantly. When plugging in the arduino to check the PWM it gives readings of 5000-10000mS. Then without the components mounted on the board...

If you want to print this here is the link...it does not fit in a 4inch cube though...

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

My 3 robots are complete, maybe some cosmetic stickers will be added. All made weight and size. Flip-it, Drax Power and Drax https://preview.ibb.co/h9uWhy/AAF83502_F259_4815_9_F27_50823_E60583_B.jpg I’ve put 1000RPM n20 motors in Drax Power....A little too fast? https://youtu.be/HkAFBMfK59I

Re: T_Y's Build Log

An Arduino controller sounds like an interesting project to do! I'm wondering if it's possible to connect a normal receiver's signal wires to the IO pins on the Arduino instead of using the NRF24LO1, so I can just use the transmitter I've already got instead of custom building one. Yes you can, it'...

Re: Rule Debates

Destructive and non destructive category. I know time constraints but it would be interesting to see which event people would sign up 2. Maybe the same amount of people but even split so the day will go smoothly. Then people who don't want their bots damaged can go to battle knowing they won't face ...

Re: T_Y's Build Log

It’s a lot cheaper to build an arduino speed controller. You can see on my build diary how I did it and the price. I’m happy to show you how to do it if you wanted to meet up again? I’ve been using 4 differnt speed controllers. Except the nano 2... as I don’t have a dsmx Tx. Issue is the sheer farce...

Re: Charger for antweight (and good practices)

Hello, Have you bought a charger already? You charge by the capacity of the battery. 300mah charge at 0.3 amps. My 180mah battery I charge at 0.2 and it’s been fine. Tbh I’ve never tried the fast charge feature. I am happy to wait and not to keen to expirment with it all. The charger I bought was ht...
