Re: Custom Servo

I have stripped a 298:1 HP motor on 2 cells. That was stalled but not for very long.

2g) Any system involving the use of pressurised gas or liqui

Parts have become light enough to in theory make a CO2 regulated antweight, All the parts that have higher pressure would have to be rated for this.

The weapon could be limited to 100psi to meet the rules or 150psi to meet the maximum rating of the valve. What are peoples thoughts on this?

Re: CNC mill build thread

There is lots of information out there so google will tell you everything you need. I think more people have done X2s than any other machine. Re: CNC mill build thread

I have been working on this mill until I have some new ideas for robots. It is now up and running although there is a bit to much backlash on the X and Z axis, Y currently has 0.035mm 8) It took about two weeks to make the parts to mount the ballscrews and bearing blocks (Ebay). I also had to modify...

Re: Two servos together

You should be able to swap both motor wires and the 2 outside wires on the pot in one servo to reverse it. This should then move the other direction to the standard one.

Re: Baby O Code

The baby-Os aren't the best speed controller, I have had no issues running 2S 2HP motors but I have seen 4 failures from 3S 2HP motors - although Anticide has been running this for a few years. I wouldn't want to try running 4HP motors as that would release the magic blue smoke.
