It's sad, but I doubt it would have been used again anyway, the cost would make it unfeasible for most people.

I believe the BattleRatz kits from Roaming Robots use a spring powered flipper in the high end model don't they? I haven't looked into it so I have no idea if the concept used in the Ratz could be scaled down to ant size but from the videos it seems pretty effective.

Thanks Simon, I think that Apache charger was one of the ones I saw and I'll take a look at the Ripmax. I have a 12v power supply from an old electronics project which might do.
