9g servos aren't as weak as you'd think. Most of my early flippers (and even some later ones) used 9g plastic geared servos with no real problems and it's always good fun to have an active weapon. Also, for Ant Freeze games in particular, it often helps being able to move things around with another ...

I'm think that for most people, early/middle of June is not a great time (clashes with exams) and early July would be better if can be arranged.

There would have to be multiple joins around the camera flap which I believe is what is worrying people. The best way to protect against the shrapnel is to have a single peice of polycarbonate of adequate thickness with as few possible points of weakness (joins, bends etc). This is what Pete's arena...

We definitely wouldn't be able to make it and I doubt most of the Antweight community would be able to either; there is a good reason why events are mostly held mainly in the centre of the country. :D It's really great that you are proposing a robot event for roboteers who are more local to you.
