Re: Event Signup revision
We can certainly export to CSV (I thought I'd done that actually - haven't looked at the organiser tools yet) and sorting can be done. The country column was because for a while we were getting quite a few non-UK entries (Ireland, Sweden, Holland, etc.) but we've not had many of them recently. I mig...

Re: Event Signup revision
Variable amount of slots, especially since teams can bring up to 12 separate entries to an event for the main tournaments. Do you mean four in each category Alex? Hmm, might have to think about the best way to do that - wasn't really a problem when I first coded it up :-) Good suggestions guys, kee...

Re: 2015 AWS Rule Debate?
I think it would make sense to try and get as much finalised in the virtual world as possible and then if there are any remaining bits that need more face to face discussion, they can be addressed at the AWS. Unfortunately I can't come again as the dates clash with a course I'm already signed up for...

Event Signup revision
Folks One of the things on my to do list (has been for a while) is to update the event signup. Obvious changes will be around removing the reference to videos and the frequency control having a 2.4Ghz option. I'm interested though in any other suggestions people have - particularly those using the b...

Re: 2015 AWS Rule Debate?
Yeah, I don't disagree with you about others perception. The point I was trying to make (while v tired after three days at MW) was that those of us who have done it a long time can easily get into ever decreasing circles of nuance and complexity that doesn't really benefit greatly and confuses those...

Re: 2015 AWS Rule Debate?
There's a lot of things we need to look at Rules, signup system needs updating and antlog is getting close to capacity. Signup and antweights.com site are going to get an overhaul shortly. I have been doing a bunch of work in the background which isn't currently visible but will modernise things ge...

Re: 2015 AWS Rule Debate?
The rules just stay static because debates happen but no one feels they have the power to actually state "this rule was voted on, passed and now I'm adding it in". There is no impartial 'keeper of the rules'. That was the whole point of having a commitee sign off on changes so that they d...

Re: 2015 AWS Rule Debate?
Yeah, not changing the rules, just a tidy up on language, a couple of alterations to match modern times, and the addition of this commercial vehicle thing (seen as no one in the poll has voted against it). Hmm, we seem to be getting away from debating rules and worrying about how pretty they are. L...
