I like the idea of that The 'build it like its a kit' approach is how I did Morgrugyn II, and the way I intend to do my new project. Can't wait to see the next instalment.Simon Windisch wrote:Kat build part 1 http://www.windisch.co.uk/robots/archives/2219

Re: Team Yr Morgrug - Builds n stuff
Time to start looking at what to do next. Couple of ideas floating around. First thing is to sort out a way forward for motor control as we have Giant Cods and the esteemed PW isn't supporting the new receivers :( So I've got a Baby-O on its way from the states :) Looks interesting, but I haven't pr...

I agree with that, but that doesn't mean that a return to the TV would have to be exactly the same as before. Re: AWS 35 - Pontefract - 17th July 2011
First event for us and really enjoyed it. A big thanks to Joey and 'the Team' for running the event, and the arena groundsman for keeping the pitch clear of servo internals, bits of plastic screws etc .
Congrats of course to all the winners.

Re: JST mini charger
the battery that you have uses an unbalanced charge lead, lots of people use the Quatro pro charger for this, E.g. http://www.activescalemodels.co.uk/pro- ... 3826-p.asp

Re: 2nd July - Sly Practise in the North West - Part II
Good day today. 400% increase in people attending
All robots had improved since the last meet, we ran an quick 'league' and lots of 'all in' stuff. Top 3 from the league were:
Morgrugyn II
htbboh
Morgrugyn
Feeling a little better about the AWS now, but my driving is still atrocious

Re: 2nd July - Sly Practise in the North West - Part II
We are still good for Saturday, 2 x Drivers, 2 x 'bots, 1 x spectator :) No progress on the arena, I've had a couple of unexpected things to do like build a trailer and repair a dinghy tiller. On the up side, I have (hopefully) sorted the left/right sensitivity problem, and lowered the front to stop...
