3d printing conundrumss
So, I can afford a decent 3D printer after Christmas and early January birthday but my school have said I can use theirs if I want, which would save me hundreds of pounds to spend on other robot things BUT they will only print in PLA and I know it's not the best but if I screwed polycarb armour onto...

Re: Team Coolspeedbot's robot builds
Grip should improve power as it reduces wheelspin and if you don't want to buy new motors aswell just get Alex to custom make you some 50mm or similar wheels and get them slightly wider than usual then one pair of custom wheels will solve everything as they will make it a lot faster and grippier

Re: Occashokka's 3rd attempt at a proper build log
Post AWS: £4.82 + VAT: Plagued with motor issues and lacked torque but got under everything and won a few and show much potential. Re: Antweight World Series 51 - Peasedown St. John, 29th October 2016
Great my spinner is now working except the electronics are now exposed as are taped just behind the disc and all 4 motor wires are off the nanotwo and my soldering iron has died, I fear unless 4 solder joints directly onto the esc can happen early in the morning I will have wasted a lot of energy on...

Re: Part recommendation
I meant the esc sorry the reason I ask is because if it is a esc with reverse or more specifically the HK esc with reverse then there are a whole list of warning that I shall need to give you after my 'fun' experiences with Buffy which led to me having to remind it before very fight

Re: Antweight World Series 51 - Peasedown St. John, 29th October 2016
I have signed up with 2 but the 3rd may be ready despite the fact it's pretty much a pile of pieces.
I was wondering if anyone was going to be there fairly early with a soldering iron as mine has packed in and I have a couple of awkward joints to do and I don't have time to get a new one
