Re: GeorgeR's robots

Ha ha ha if you want lessons in building chassis too weak for spinners im your man,*looks at 2 bent aluminum and steel chassis and shudders*

However buffy which was definitely not strong enough lasted 18months so who cares if your chassis is wobbly

Re: A quick question about Brushless Motors

There are definitely quite a few people myself included who have looked into brushless drive but the reliability of it is always very low as turning 10000+rpm into a controllable drive speed is so difficult because it all has to be self designed, I actually 3d printed one side of a brushless drive b...

Re: Help/Build diary for/of my first antweight.

Yea I use bent piano wire which is just thick paperclips, the servo horn usually has holes in it you can widen out or poke it through and then you just have to make a loop on the underside of the flipper plate to bend it through

Re: Help/Build diary for/of my first antweight.

I know they are 10mm x 12mm width and height and roughly 25mm long without shaft so that measurement includes the shaft which I believe to be 10mm long same as the wheel width

Re: Help/Build diary for/of my first antweight.

I really like the concept! , one thing I warn you of most as someone who has owned a front hinged flipper is that the if it is too shallow then the servo being the fattest thing has to end up right near the back, which means harder linkages and also having the servo where you want to drive motors to...
