Hi
I just need to clarify the rules for an expanding robot. It needs to be in its shrunken state when it is in the cube but does it expand as soon as it enters the arena or after the 3 2 1 activate?

Re: autonomous clusterbot
Yes, it has to start moving when activate happens, so you need a way of remotely starting it. And of course they have to move, or they'll be counted out... ok. one last thing, probably the main point is whether the cluster has to be seperate at the start, or whether they can seperate later on in th...

autonomous clusterbot
hi
i am planning a cluster bot which comprises of two or three robots, but only one is rc. the other one or two would be either fully or semi autonomous ( and another point to consider would be that the semi/auto bot/s would be probably lighter than the controlled)
would this be allowed?

I will be able to make it.
Just thought I would say, that we are still (re)building truant for this competetion. We SHOULD, have him done in time, but if not, Disobidiant will see the field of battle.

Re: Birmingham TechFest (Micro Mouse 2011)
It was great fun! After LOTS of trouble with my F1 (managed to load the program onto the wrong chip, and I did not have the original!) I had to bipass the entire circtuit to make it just go forwards REALLY FAST! Without the penalty i got a time of 1.2 seconds! My sumo did much better than I expected...
