Great! I cant find any where which just says the dam weight of the thing. Impresive. The torque and speed are both very impressive. But ti gears. Hardend steel gear pins Supported by Axial Brass Bushings. So new that it has not even been released yet. That thing is not going to be even close to chea...

Sounds good Dave! I remember a while ago at a debenham there was a massive ant arena. It was fun with two speed hacked ants bouncing around trying to get the better of each other. I remember Pete saying that he cant get though 3mm polycarb. I would copy pete some what. Have a base made of wood. The ...

Cheers dave I have been on robot birds but nothing in there collection is anything close to what I need. I usually stick to around the 100 mah mark as an ant weight fight rarely goes over 3 minutes. An average fight is under a minute so after a fight I am usually charging a mostly full battery. Also...

speed hacking most servos is fine and will usually give enough torque. Usually I remove two gears for a speed mod making roughly a servo with 4 reductions, 4x quicker but 4 x less torque. This is fine as a 2kg servo will be reduced to 500 grams. More then enough to move your self with another robot....
