the charger ive got is a fairly chepa one , it has a 0.5 , 1 and 2.5 amp charge setting , i always use 1 . I have a battery disharger (a half dead drill motor , with a tamiya conenctor soldered to it lol) i leave it going until the motor stops moving . so i think ina ll im taking good care of them ,...

i had the fialsafes to move it to (what i thoguht was neutal) but in fact , when it lost signal it went full throttle , it didnt hit me but it smashed in a piece of the kitchen cabinets , i have since glued the pots on the failsafes to the right postion lol.

i dont think there is any other damage to the receiver , and the TX is OK , so i put it down to ariel length , if the problems dont quite after i replace the ariel , what could it be ? I know there is some source of interferance near me , im not sure where its coming from , but as soon as i go down ...

In an act of stupidity , i completely mangled the antenna on my receiver , this was quite a while ago and since then its been sitting in box doing nothing , earlier today i looked up the ariel length of another 40 mhz receiver , i cut a bit of wire to length and soldered it on , at most i can get 3 ...

If the events where combined , i would be concentrating on my FW and probably wouldn't have time to fight an antweight , so yeah , its a nice idea, but it would probably be best if the events where separated :)
