Re: AWS 60 - Headington, Oxford - 30th Nov 2019

We should be ok for this one, I need to replace all our robots with updated/working versions before we sign up though.

Ant Freeze 7 - 2020

Ant Freeze 7 I will be booking the hall soon and it will hopefully be either Jan 25th or Feb 1st 2020. Re: Water Bots - Floaters

I`ll make a draft set of rules but basically if its allowed at AWS then its probably allowed in this, so tethered projectiles etc.
For safety there is a 4s lipo limit.
Water in your electrics will probably kill your bot, a bit like a spinner blade going through them, just a hazard to design against.

Water Bots - Floaters

Following some initial ideas and discussions at the recent AWS I am designing and building a water arena to enable floating robots. This will be a whole new class and will be trialled at Robonerd this year. If you would like to build for it the weight limit is 200 grams and must fit in a five inch c...

Re: Ant Freeze 6 - 2/2/19 - * Updated * Details & Signup

Firstly any donations please Paypal as a gift to j.denny@live.co.uk , thanks. This year I had to pay for the room hire and take out insurance to cover it all, so it all helps. Thanks for all the feedback, I’ll take it all onboard and see what can be done. I’m still trying and failing with Antlog 3, ...

Please see the updated timetable in the first post for this Saturday, signups will now stay open for the morning and we’ll run the main tournament in the afternoon.
This is to allow more time to travel with the weather as it is.
