Re: New and would like some help with my 1st flipperbot

I would also recommend Hobby King. I have been using them for years and have never had a problem. Allow extra time for shipping at Christmas and Chinese new year (February).

Re: charging smaller lipo batteries

I have used one of these for the past few years with 1s and 2s.

I make packs using these cells soldered to jst connectors.

It works well. Just plug it in and wait for the green LED to turn off.

What do you need to do to use the baby-orangutan control board as a speedo in an ant?

Good find, Aaron. Thanks for your advice, Gary.

Which wheels go best with Pololu motors? Would the Pololu Wheel 32 x 7 mm 3.4g be good for ants?

Thank you. The video demonstrated the difference quite well.

If I used motors, such as the Pololu 30:1 Micro Metal Gearmotor (High Power), what speed controller would you recommend? I don't need a weapon switch on the speed controller.

Apparently, many experienced builders use geared motors rather than servos. What are the benefits of a motor such as the Pololu with speed controller as opposed to a servo of the same weight?

Thanks. I want to build a pneumatic flipper, but I am having troubles finding a light valve. I have built several feather flippers in the past. I might just build a servo powered lifter as a first ant.

I have been reading your forum for a while now and have picked up lots of helpful tips.
