Re: Planned downtime
Is there an option to apply a different skin again? I've had this forum on a skin (can't remember its name) that made it look similar to the old forum but I can't seem to find this option in any of the user settings anymore. Thanks.

The first and second weekends respectively, over three days each time. Still not 100% locked in though.

Re: A boreing question
Alternatively, if you have any collets from your mill that are small enough for 3-3.5mm, clamp them in that (with the collet holder in a vice or something) then drill it out with a drill, if hand/power tool accuracy isn't a problem. Alex's method sounds better though.

When I saw First Left on the list of entries I didn't really get the name, but now it makes total sense
Are you still using the brushless from Lynx? Just wondering as the chassis looks a little short height-wise for it.

I'll see how they measure up the next time I'm home and have Brian handy, but sounds good. Thanks for the reply.

Re: Team Shakey Robotics - Ant parts for sale!
Do you have any dimensions handy for those drive units Alex? I've RC'd a Confused.com Brian toy with a couple of speed hacked SG90 servos for drive, but because it's quite a top heavy model, I have the dual rates set at 10-15% and, as a result, it has next to no torque. The base unit is quite small ...
Re: Eclipse
I managed to get a couple of good ones, one of which was through a welding mask, but the auto-darkening function didn't kick in as there was a lot of cloud around, so it's rather green!

Easy enough to mount a switch on a 4ch transmitter shoulder and wire it across the pot of the channel you're wanting to use for a weapon to get full travel instantaneously. Done this on a couple of my transmitters, comes in handy.

Re: Epic Robotics
Dantomkia is a very rare toy. I wouldn't mess about with it. It could be worth a bit of cash in the next few decades. I bought it specifically for messing about with. I'm not a collector, I don't want it sitting on a shelf gathering dust for the next 30 years. And I honestly don't think the RW toy ...

Re: Epic Robotics
Looks very good indeed. I bought a Dantomkia toy recently with plans to RC it (not got round to it yet though!) but this is making me want to give Firestorm a bash too. As for names, how about dropping the 'storm' part from your suggestion and just calling it Ember? Or if you're a Harry Potter fan i...
