Re: 3D printed scalextric wheels for antweights.

Hi, I believe I made those a long time ago.

I think they are to fit 20-20.5mm Ninco Slick tyres. Probably the 11.5mm wide ones.
I was using those a good few years ago now though, so I may be wrong!

Dave Weston had a few sets, he may know.

Engineering Roles

Hi All, It's been a while! Although I have been lurking, and I have some new shiny things to show you soon. For those that don't know, I used to compete in the Antweight world, and made some silly, overcomplicated things. I now run a company called RPD International - and we make almost everything, ...

Re: Pop!

I've put a quick white model together, before I start machining parts from ali. Few more changes to make and some material to remove. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/joshiv/photo1d_zps24fad0f3.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/joshiv/photo2d_zps33929837.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com...

Re: Pop!

Hi All! I've been busy , but I have been building in my spare time. I've made my simplest, yet most frustratingly compact pneumatic system to date. It works, and it works reliably. Now I need to build a robot around it. Teaser below. I hope to get something together over the summer. http://i22.photo...

Engineering Job Vacancy

Hi All! I am still here, keeping an eye on things! In the mean time, we have a job vacancy that may be well suited to somebody here, hence I'll put it out there: Engineering Project Manager at RPD International in London (₤1000 - ₤2500 per month) It's time for a new full-time member of the team! We'...

Pre AWS RW101 dedicated 3D printing run.

Hi Guys, With the AWS coming up at the end of the month I have had some requests for more printing. I am prepared to run an entire machine dedicated to everybody here if we can fill it up enough. I will start the cm3 prices at £1 the more projects in the build, the cheaper it will get. Pricing as fo...

Re: CNC Machining

Try ProtoMold. They do injection molding and CNC. Turnaround is quick but prices are a bit steep.

Alternatively I regularly put antweight stuff in with the company jobs so can arrange SLS or CNC work if necessary.

Re: Which 3D printer is best for home use

Hi Peter, We just bought a few of the UP mini machines to run at an exhibition. Awesome little machines, and I'm sure the full size UP is just as good. We've also just invested in an Objet 30 Pro but that's a slightly different price range... I'd recommend the UP machines. You can hack the code, so ...

The frame was originally designed to internally house a Typhoon 3/3D. Here's some images from my original builds: http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/joshiv/DSC03438.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/joshiv/DSC03469.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/joshiv/DSC03538.jpg http://i2...

Re: 3D Printing discount

Hi, I have a machine running early next week. I can run pieces under 25mm tall in one direction for £0.70/cm3 +VAT +£3 shipping this time. I need confirmation asap and files by Sunday night. If you have pieces over 25mm I may be able to run them but that depends how many people have stuff to print. ...

Re: 3D Printing discount

The machine is now full. There is a small amount of room for items such as wheels, but I cannot fit any more large chassis pieces in on this print.
