so far it looks like its going to be a thing of beauty... i dont know if i had built that, that I would be able to watch it get broken in combat.

right, the nearest train stations are waltham cross and theobalds grove...

waltham cross is on the same line as cambridge if you change at either cheshunt or tottenham hale

ok, hope to see you there... i might be able to organise a lift from the nearest train station however i need to confirm this and also find which is the nearest station if you are coming via public transport...

could you not have the tail shorter, mounted lower... to fit in the gap between the bend at the bottom of your polycarb and extend up towards where the wall would sit?

i guess reversing polarity to an esc is something i have to look forward to... not done it so far closest thing is blowing a cap on a receiver accidentally running a 2s directly into it... weird thing is, cap is no longer in the board but its still working fine and has been for ages... i did however...

smaller battery and ultra micro servo? i have some tiny 1.3kg turnigy d561mg servo's... team that up with a 180mah nano tech... might be able to squeeze it in somewhere... servo's are (according to hobbyking) 21.3 x 11.6 x 22.8mm... no idea if this is exact but i can say they are a decent bit smalle...

if you have good weight left, maybe have another servo to power a retractable version... would effectively grip from both sides but would be able to release when you needed to...

the non return thing is good as an idea, but in practice it works against you when trying to let a bot go (after 20 seconds or into the pit)

and i still think its a nice shade of pre blue rinse grey
