Re: ESC with built-in receiver - interesting?

Id be interested, dependent on price.
Currently an rx and esc separately would be around £15. I get there is a mass advantage, and specific application so i expect more than this, but i think i would struggle to justify significantly more than this.
Any idea of price point?

Re: AWS 57 (February 2019)

Is there a second arena that could be used, maybe just for the first round or two?

Its probably not necessary, but could help timings if you are struggling to squeeze everything in.

Re: SG90's at high voltage

Just to close this one out for anyone scanning through the forum in the future: -Yes you can run the motor from an SG90 at a high voltage (tested up to 11v stall without any issues) -At around the 11v mark the pinion gear on the motor starts slipping, which effectively protects the rest of the gears...

Re: SG90's at high voltage

"we used to use SG90 servos a long time ago but found that the gearboxes were incredibly week but you said its for a spinner so you have probably removed the gearbox, in which case the motor will have such low torque that it probably wont spin anything that has any mass" I have indeed trie...

SG90's at high voltage

Hi all, Looking for a little advice on a particularly cheap spinner setup. I have an SG90 that i have wired with a relay so that i can give the motor max volts without burning out the PCB. my question is, has anybody got any idea what voltage these tiny motors will handle before producing lots of sm...

Re: Newbies Build Diary.

Hi Matt, I may not be the best person to advise on this as i'm fairly new to antweights too, but i found this version of the SG90 really easy to mod: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SG90-9G-Micro-Servo-Motor-RC-Robot-Arm-Helicopter-Airplane-Remote-Control/153074775766?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&va...
