Need a new esc

So it seems my nano2 is a little broken and doesn't work the servo. I can still use it to drive so it may make its way in to a pusher at some point. Anyway i need a new esc as I have a flipper printed and ready to build. I had taken the easy option of a nano2 as it was good to go. Anyone want to sug...

Re: chassis dimensions for 3d print

Thanks. Looks like my bot is a little tubby in places. Specifically though, how thick do people print the chassis floor? is 2mm going to be enough or should it be more?

Cheers

Re: chassis dimensions for 3d print

Thanks Eddie. As a novice to 3d printing i'm just trying to learn the basics at the mo. I was hoping to do a prototype in PLA and then once the design is right get it printed in ABS (if that is the right thing to do?) I guess the the more infill the stronger and narrower the chassis could be? My pre...

chassis dimensions for 3d print

Morning

Just a quick one. I've taken the plunge and started designing an ant on Tinkercad which i hope to get printed at some stage. What sort of thickness do people use for the chassis floor and external walls? Is there a standard measurement that people use?

Thanks

dr3 First Build

So we finally got round to putting something together. This ant was meant to be a test bot really so my son and I could get used to the build process and driving before making a named battle bot. However i'm quite pleased with the aesthetics of the ant and it works pretty well. Its a little overweig...

Devo 7e Question

Evening Just downloaded the Deviation software to my Devo 7e and on start up a message states: 'Ch3 is 0% safe value = -100%' The ch3 value changes as i move the left stick. Have I done something wrong with the setup? Is this something to worry about? I'm not familiar with this sort of thing so lear...

Re: Just getting started..

EddieJ - Thanks that is a generous offer. Zero CAD skill though, we are designing on paper and cardboard! It was a off the cuff comment and Extreme Robots 'we could make one of those Ants' now my son won't let it go and is holding me to it. I think we will see how the first one goes and if he stays ...
