Re: Lead Time on NanoTwo LT's

Thanks, everyone, looks like I will check the facebook page to see when the next batch is released. I already have a receiver so wouldn't need one built-in, meant to put I wouldn't need one so therefore then NanoTwo LT is probably my best choice. Would it just replace the DasMikro?
Thanks

Lead Time on NanoTwo LT's

Hi, looking at getting back into robot building and to nobody's surprise, my DasMikro has managed to lose one of the soldering pads, so ideally I could get a NanoTwo LT as I wouldn't need a receiver. At the moment they seem to be out of stock, does anyone have an idea when they'll be back in stock? ...

Re: Building A Spinner

Thanks, George, I will look into the motors and will most likely buy the Afro 12a instead as I didn't know that was a powerful enough ESC. I have built a larger chassis and it is a much better fit, It looks a bit like a weird bird/spaceship at the moment as I'm struggling with bending the polycarbon...

Building A Spinner

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of building a spinner and I am just wondering what the dimensions are of a lot of the spinners, my chassis just seems to small, I can hardly fit the motors in, at the moment it's 8x8x2 cm. Also, I'm thinking of using an Afro 20A ESC but can anyone suggest a suitable m...

Re: Hello, World! - A Newbie's First Robot

Looking good so far, I've never seen anyone use a slim wing servo in an antweight before so that should be interesting to see. How are you planning to hinge the flipper?

Re: Build Diary: Prototype Robot

A little bit more progress, we got some bolts and we have now managed to make a prototype body shell. Next stage is the Flipper! Does anyone know a good place to source some metal for an armoured flipper and what metal would it be. Steel? Titanium? Aluminium? Also, how would I go about colouring, pa...

Re: Build Diary: Prototype Robot

After some soldering we managed to fix the motor issue, it turned out Paul was right and after resoldering the wire we now have a driveable mess of wires.

Re: Build Diary: Prototype Robot

Yeah, I'll check those wires, However, I would have thought that both motors wouldn't work if they were touching.
Thanks and I'll tell you if that's fixed it when I get time to check it.
