Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

well those are slightly crude... I’m not the first to borrow them. Hehe! I messaged the original designer(Ben from team panic) and he said the more people building the better and he’s happy for anyone to sell the design... however I will be making my own robots to sell (like my flip-it design)l. Th...

Re: "Flip-it” new build/project

Wow! It’s been a while since my last post...It’s exam season in schools so I’ve been very busy, in combination with my 3D printer breaking again/Chinese modules being duds. All my building has been on hold. :( I’ve been working on building arduino based robots that can be made cheaply with either a ...

Re: Malenki-ESC open source Antweight ESC

This looks awesome, however I’m a little confused. Does this only work through a single signal wire?

All 3 Signal wires are through 1 wire??

Re: Possible escs ?

Yes these work fine.

You have to balance their heavy weight compared to other ESC which are much lighter but much more expensive.

You can desolder the large capacitor to save some weight.

Re: Team BLEEP build diary

I had a pretty fun battle vs Melon. Either your bot or the other axe bot got inside flipit and half cut the power cable which then kept shorting out the receiver. I’ve resoldered the entire robot to fix the problem. So someone’s axe worked!!!!

Re: Pink servo??

@Peter I think they will be very good for nanoweights.

@lima. They look amazing...The 10kg of torque could be a lie though, Chinese sellers have been known to lie...it is definitely worth a buy and do a test on them. Nice find.

Re: Pink servo??

Thank you for all the information, I’ve learnt a lot through reading it. I wish I’d started making robots years ago now, as I’ve not had to “discover” anything but use all the recommended parts instead...N20, polycarbonate and the pink servo. I’ve been searching for a new servo since February, I tho...

Re: Pink servo??

Why do people talk about the pink servo so much? When it seems there are plenty of alternatives that don’t seem to appear on this forum.

Spin up time drastically decreased with 300MaH battery. Can go half speed instantly now.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Brushless motors

Thanks for the reply, makes a lot more sense now. Yes you are right my battery and esc set up is wrong. I have Sunnysky X2204S motor, This SimonK esc https://banggood.app.link/xRhf4YqMUU and a 180MaH 25c battery. I guess my issue is the undersized battery. I was in the process of hooking up a 300mah...
