pjl83, The advice I would give (and I should take it myself) is to get lots of fdriving practice in. Also, buy a couple of AWS DVDs and study how a robot wins. Lastly, remember you don't need that much torque to push a 150g robot that has its wheels off the ground, which is (I assume) what you inten...

Hi there,

Has anyone seen the antweight RIP recently. It was a super robot, with great pushing power, and I wondered if it had one any competitions yet.

Hi,

I came across a new Reading robot shop in the local paper yesterday. It's really for autonomous robots, but some of the parts/tools might be useful.

It's on Portman road, and the website is http://www.diyrobotics.com

That's really wierd Gary. Most sites have a default DirectoryIndex that looks something like index.htm index.html default.htm default.html, which means (in this case) that the server looks for index.htm first, then index.html. Surely if your site didn't have a "default" page at all you'd g...

The site looks great Scott. Simple but effective, and all the link work! It's nice to see Void's evolution. You're welcome to the photos.

BTW I have about 20 minutes of footage from Reading Robot Club 2 which I can put on CDV if anyone's interested. ?2 should cover my costs.

Absolutely Scott. I doubt it'll win anything, but it'll certainly be trundling about on the day! As for Anto Craig, That wouldn't be a bad thing considering Anto's track record. I think it'll look more like Tornado, only a lot lot slower. Simon <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by: Simon Windi...

Hi Jas,

This one's for my five year old son to drive, so I'm keeping it really simple. It's just going to be a pusher, with (hopefully) wedges at either end, and it'll run both ways up.
