Yes, just drill and bolt. It's very secure.

I use M2 or M3 bolts. I have also tapped M2 bolts into polycarbonate with some success, but using nuts makes the join much stronger.

The sheet I bought was from Titanium Joe http://www.titaniumjoe.com/6al4v%20sheet.htm and is 0.016 in thick - 0.4mm. The postage was an absolute nightmare, something like ?40. I use tin snips to cut it. I would say it's as resistant to damage as 2 or 3mm polycarbonate, and very light. It's also very...

Hi Mr Stu I'm fairly sure that we can muster at least ten antweights to attend this event. If you can offer us four frequencies (out of 32 possibles unless my calculation are out) and space for an arena then we can make *this* event a success for antweights, rather than wait for the next one. We can...

Interesting idea Ian. When's the last time a US robot came over here or vice versa?

If we excluded spiners then we wouldn't need a supersize battlebox, which is a shame, as I'd quite like to build a "killer spinner"

New category of robots - Killerweight?

Hi there, I just had a thought (and I couldn't work out which forum to put it in). Wouldn't it be nice, I thought, If I could build a robot to give all those rc machines that we have in the house a good seeing to. Unfortunately my antweights are too small to make an impression on the likes of our rc...

If I could weld, and was five thousand ponds richer, and had an easy route from the shed to the car without having to go through the house, I would have built a heavyweight.

As none of these things are the case I build antweights instead.
