Re: Unathodox ant challange

One of the original ideas of ants was that anyone could build any arena and challenge all-comers to battle in it. With the massive increases in weaponry and the consequent need for a "bulletproof" battlebox this idea has rather fallen by the wayside. It's too expensive and/or complicated for many p...

Unathodox ant challange

Odd title i know. Been musing today over the idea of a diffrent sort of ant fighting event. I should add that this is probably incimplete thoughts, but feel I want to voice them and see if there be intrest. My thinking is to make the process of fighting a bit more rougth and ready and less the clini...

Re: My 3d Printing saga

So getting somewhere with pla now. But contemplating switching to abs.

I am not sure my bed will go beyond 60 degrees. Would that and the abs slurry be the best bet to get bed adhesion.

Having fun tho!

Re: My 3d Printing saga

Got solid inspector 2. Will look into the others. Do i need solid inspector 1 also? I personally use solid inspector 1 90% of the time. It's only if stuff is really bad I use 2. I find 1 quicker if it's one or two things disrupting the net. I can't remember my PLA temps, haven't printed PLA in year...

Re: My 3d Printing saga

Great help.

I have PLA at the moment. Been having issues with it not sticking to the bed. Had some luck with masking tape and a glue stick. What would be good temps to use.

Micro motor

Hello All Working on a Ant project that requires the following for its motors: Max width 35mm (not including shafts) ideally 3mm d shafts The standard ant motor (the one on Rorys kits) is a bit too long to put both in line. I was wondering if there was an equivalent to you knowledge that either had ...

How do you attach the motors in your drive units? Are they screwed in from the front?
