Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton

What an awesome event! It was lovely to finally see everyone again and get back to doing AWS after my operation. Well done to everyone involved with running the event and well done to the oink team for winning. You really deserved it. :-)

Re: Antweight World Series 53 - University of Southampton

Hi. I appear to only have two robots signed up. I meant to sign up the full four. Could the sign up be corrected or would be ok to bring the other two and sign them up on the day?

This looks very good. Should save you a lot of room inside the robot for weapons and things. :-)

Re: I have returned.

I've had a go at using emachineshop and decided that a bar would be easier to get balanced than a disc. I've done this CAD and positioned the hole for the motor shaft using the centre of gravity feature. that should mean its balanced, right?

Re: Team Coolspeedbot's robot builds

Hi. I usually drill some small holes in the chasis if I need to shave a gram off. Theres always some difference in scales though so you might be alright but its better not to take the risk.

The robot looks great by the way.

My question is, how could I go about creating and installing a pneumatic system to a robot? What parts would I need and could anyone recom...
