Re: Pre modded servo boards for escs?

Cheers. Did you have to modify the boards in any way or just remove the potentiometer from the casing and use the board as it comes?

Pre modded servo boards for escs?

Hi guys.i've found a number of pre modified continuous rotation servos online and I was wondering, would the boards from them make usable escs? I assume so because I know people mod servo boards all the time but wasn't sure.

The arena looks great. Its definitely appreciated, the effort and expense you go to to maintain it.

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019

Initially I said November but I have since started a newjob and they wont let me take holliday in November or December so I think we'd be better off running it October. Any requests for dates in October?

Re: Need a new esc

There's the dasmicro ESC which is quite cheap but you would have to solder directly onto it. Apart from that theres the sabretooth ESC which has boxes for the wires so you dont need to solder it and will easily drive a flipper servo but from experience I think that one's a bit big and bulky. Sorry I...

Dys or redcon brushless motors.

Hi guys. Does anyone know where I could buy a dys or redcon brushless motor from? They seem to be what everyone's using these days but I can't find a supplier that isn't either out of stock or has discontinued them. Thanks.

Re: Antweight open/AWS 2019

Nice to see theres still interest for it. What would be the best date in November for everyone? Also, this event will take place in the new extention. Its slightly smaller than the main hall but should still be large enough to run an event in. We'll just have to be a bit conservative with space.

Antweight open/AWS 2019

Hi guys im looking at doing an event at some point later on in the year. Possibly in November. It would be in the same place as in previous years at melrose hall. Would there be interest for this and if so, what date would be best for everyone?

Re: Botbitz 10 amp ESCs for weapon

Thanks guys. I want to build a flipper bot that can actually throw an opponent rather than just turning them over. Pneumatics looks a bit complex and I dont want to have limited flips so I think one of these servos might have to do it.

Re: Botbitz 10 amp ESCs for weapon

Thank you. Where did you get the 100:1 motor from please? Also how much flipping strength did you get from it? Is it better than just using a micro servo?

Botbitz 10 amp ESCs for weapon

Hi guys. I am looking to build a robot with a geared motor driven weapon. Possibly an axe, grabber or flipper. Would the botbitz 10 amp be a suitable ESC to control such a weapon and also, how well would a geared motor fare at driving a flipper or grabber? I have seen them used to drive axes before ...

Featherweight clusterbot

Hi guys. Im just wondering, what are the rules in feathers regarding clusters. Is there a 50% rule and if so, is it by weight or number? Thanks.
